I like it a lot-it's my cousin's name and she goes by Andie most of the time. Very pretty-both names!
I like it
I knew a person named Andrea in high school who I really admired.
I really like the name.
It was pronounced as you say - I like that prn best. I agree it might seem a little bit dated, but not bad -- it's been steadily popular, never quite trendy.

I don't care for it, because of the pronunciation. I can somewhat tolerate it if pronounced Ahn-dree-uh, but still, it's not my style.
What if she wanted the nickname Andie? Would you tell her "no"? Nicknames should be up to the child, not the parent(s).

I would just not call Andrea "Andie", even if her friends did

I like it. It's nice, but not too common or popular. It's my cousin's name too, and she's great. I have a friend named Andrhea, which is kind of interesting too.
this is one of those names...
... that I strongly dislike for no apparent reason.
Sorry!

not my style at all. I think it is a little dated. I prefer it pronounced Auhn-dre-uh
I really don't like it for girls, but I love it for boys.

its my name, and like i said a few posts back, i really like it.
Not really. They just rhyme. See, Lay-luh and Kay-lah rhyme. There's nothing wrong with that. :-)
