HelpOT: Two weeks? (m)

I'm sure the follow-up check after a vasectomy happens after two months, and only then can other methods of birth control be stopped. I'm honestly extremely skeptical that your doctor wouldn't have explained this all in depth to you and your husband. It's surgery, albeit a relatively simple one, and it's not something to to take lightly.

Ditto about the 2 weeks thing. I'm pretty sure your Doctor would have told you and if he didn't ... well he should be sued!
I love your childrens names, btw out of interest why do they have 3 middle names and the others have only 2?
