Sorry but it isn't my style - I find Colton very trendy, and Kolton even more so.
Colton is nice. Kolton is an artificial spelling, as far as I know, and I wouldn't use it because it looks cutesy, like Krispy Kreme. I think you could legitimately spell it Coulton too (prn ever so slightly like cool-ton), Coltan or Caulton. If you decide you must have the K, I think Koltan looks better than Kolton.
Off the top of my head:
Colton Jasper
Colton Ashley
Colton Marcus
Colton Gage
Colton Oscar
Colton Roman
With K names, for combos with Colton or as twins:
Keith.. hey, I like this!
Keiran
Kyle
Kenrick
Kendrick
Kirby
Kaspar
Kallier (CAL-yer. An acquaintance has a boy named Callier)
Kirk
I agree that naming every kid with a K name is a bit much, but two is not so bad.

I don't like naming themes, so I wouldn't choose another K name, especially if you're planning on doing that for both of the twins - I really dislike double initials for twins. It isn't cute, but just peals away more of their identity. So, if you want to use the name, I would say choose Colton (but not another C name for the twin). I don't care for the name, anyway.
Since you like K names, go with Kolton. I think it's a nice name.
I dislike Colton / Kolton, simply because it's too "horse-y" to me (a colt is a young horse, of course). I do prefer the spelling Colton, especially in this case since it seems a little themey for there to be a Kanyon and a Kolton.
Though Kolton / Colton does go well with Kanyon, I wouldn't use it personally. Your first son's mn is Kohl, which in my accent is identical to the first syllable of Colton; therefore it seems a little cheesy to me, even if Kohl's a mn and Colton would be a fn.

I like the name Kanyon. And I like the name Colton too. I prefer the letter "c" over "k." Maybe you could spell Colton, Coalton, Coelton, Coleton. But I think I like the spelling Colton better. :-)
