Callum
What do you think of this boy's name? I really like it. I think it would go nicely with my son Andrew's name. I am American and my husband is Canadian but he is of Scottish background. I have an Irish/Scottish background so I think this is a fitting name. But do you think it could work in America on a little boy? Thanks!

Callum is a great Scottish name, and it's almost unheard of in America. And it works very well with Andrew. (My bf is Scottish, and it is definitely very popular in Scotland.) :)

Callum is very popular where I live (North East England) and I know quite a few.
I think it sounds great with Andrew.- Kitty

I don't care for it. It doesn't sound like a name to me, but slang for "call them" - I'll callum' in the morning. I know it isn't pronounced as Caul-um, but that's what pops into my mind. Sorry. Also, I think any name works on anyone, whether they are that nationality/ethnicity or not.

I think it works, and as you say, goes well with Andrew.

I do like the name (and Callum is my favourite spelling) but it's ruined for me because it's so chronically overused where I live. I live in Scotland though - in the US, I imagine it'd be unusual and a great name :-)
