I don't like it.
It's the name of the river (http://members.aol.com/calderdale2/ph916.html) that runs though my home town, not to mention the canal (http://members.aol.com/calderdale2/ph945.html) and the district (Calderdale: http://members.aol.com/calderdale/index.html) and used in the names of quite a few schools, colleges, oraganisations etc.
I can't see it as a name at all.
