Emre
Hi there. I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of the name Emre? It's feminine (to my knowledge), and is pronounced EM-ree. It might be spelled with an accent over one of the E's, but I'm not sure. I saw it in a magazine several years ago and have started liking it recently. I thought it might make a good substitute for the more popular Emma or Emily, or a more feminine version of Emory or Emerson, which I also love.
Thanks in advance for any information you might be able to give me!

There is a Turkish footballer with this name Emre Belozoglu, also looking at other search results it seems to be a definate male name though I didnt have time to look through all the results so I could be wrong and it might be unisex

Its cute. I prefer the spelling Emory or Emrey on a boy or girl i think Emre looks strange.
I *think* I've seen it somewhere like in a medieval names archive or somthing I'll try to find it
I love Emrys though

Try Emery maybe... thought it was a boys' name though.
I think it's cute, I've never seen it spelled like that before. I prefer Emery for a boy though.
I think it's cute. I'd use the spelling Emree or Emrie instead of Emre. Emre looks confusing imo.
