I knew a beautiful little girl by that name. Most people would've pron. it "Bridda." However, she & her family were adamant about pronouncing the crisp t's in the name. I like it, but could never use it, as our surname begins w/Britt. Could you imagine? Britta Britt****. (Shudders)
