Re: Charlotte, Beatrice, Elinor and Rudolph

Charlotte- Charlotte seems very harsh to me, so I don't like it.
Beatrice- Beatrice is one of my favorites; it's gentle, feminine, and underused right now. I also love Beatrix.
Elinor nn Nell- Like it, but I prefer the spelling Eleanor. I love the nn Nell! It's very sweet yet not cutesy, and I've grown so sick of Ellie as a nn for Eleanor.
Rudolph nn Rudy- I adore Rudolph despite the connections with reindeer. Wonderful name! Dolph would be the nn I would choose, if any; Rudy reminds me too strongly of The Cosby Show, and seems a little feminine.

Beatrix!
Since I read this post last night, I have fallen totally in love with Beatrix! I had never really thought of it before, and now it has shot straight into my top three. It is beautiful and so unusual and yet classic.
