She's the daughter of Brian WilsonAnd Brian is best known as one of the Beach Boys.Carnie herself is a singer, and is in the group Wilson Phillips, composed of Carnie, sister Wendy Wilson, and friend Chynna Phillips. Their only major hit was "Hold On" ("... hold on for one more day..." may ring a bell). In addition to the above, Carnie was famous for being the "fat one" of her group. Over time, she grew past fat into morbidly obese. Afraid for her life, she decided to have gastric bypass surgery to shrink her stomach... and broadcasted it live over the Internet, where 50,000 people watched. Notwithstanding the strangness of that last part, she subequently lost a huge amount of weight, something like over 200 pounds irrc.Carnie's IMDb entry says that Brian originally wanted to name her Carnation, but ultimately shortened the name to Carnie.Links: http://snipurl.com/bta0 (Wikipedia), http://snipurl.com/bta1 (IMDb)Miranda

"...I asked her her name, and in a dark brown voice she said...Lola...L-O-L-A-Lola..."Uhm, yes...I think of that Kinks song...I like the song alright, but not the name although Lola Brianna isn't all that terrible.DH :-)

I don't like it.

I normally really dislike the name Brianna, but I think Lola Brianna sounds cute.

I think it's cute. After all it could be A LOT worse. Lola, Ella, and Ava are really the trendiest names in Hollywood.

I like both names, and they work together nicely.

Huh, interesting. I knew Carnie was married (and that she had married while still morbidly obese), but not that she was pregnant. I'm not really interested in her in general, but I've been mildly interested in her weight loss and such. She seems like a cool person.Lola's nice, if a little nny to me. I think of it as a new(ish) classic, and--as with all popular classic names--I'm not as bothered by its popularity as I am by, say, Kayleigh. I do wonder why Lola seems to be so popular among the celebrity culture though, unless Madonna has more influence than I thought.I prefer Briana to Brianna, as the extra N is superfluous and trendy to me (I pronounce both Briana and Brianna the same: BREE-an-ah). I think Briana sounds trendier than Lola, but that otherwise it too is a new classic.Lola Briana sounds very nice to me, and the double -a endings don't bother me.Miranda

Lola is ok but nicknamey and I see it fitting only a certain type of woman. I really dislike the combo Lola Brianna, it just doesn't flow very well. The two names don't fit together at all. But congratulations to her on her daughter none the less.
