Thanks, and what do you think of changing my daughter's name (Elodie Autumn)?

Thanks for your comments. I just wanted to get a sense of what people think about this name and it helped to know where you're from since this name is mainly popular in France. I'm American and the name is rarely heard here, but because I think it's pretty I've named my two month old daughter Elodie. We pronounce it to rhyme with Melody, and call her Ellie as a nickname. However, not many people like it! We have gotten some negative comments and some days I think about changing her name to something more pronounceable and less unusual. Let's just say it wasn't my favorite name because dh and I couldn't agree, so this makes me more willing to change it, though I do like it; I just don't love it. (See post above this one for other names I'd have chosen). I like unique names, but maybe this one is too unique. . . I think about calling her something with a similar -elle sound to make the name transition easier. My current favorites are:Arabella Colette (nn Ellie)
Aurora ElodieOr should I just keep her name as Elodie Autumn?

I think it is very pretty!! Could you change the spelling to Ellodie? That would help people pronounce it right I think. I thought it was EE-low-dee when I 1st read it but Ellodie looks like it should start out as Ell and thus the right pr is recognized easily from that point on.
