I come from a Russian family and my name is Russian, although apparently this spelling Polish, Italian and Spanish. Natalya is meant to be the Russian translation, but whatever. I either know or are related to someone with most of these names!
All Russian names have about 5 different nicknames, depending on how affectionate you want to sound.
I dont really like any of the names on the original list, although I do have a relation called Sergei!
