What do you think of the name Theodora? This is my teachers name and she's greek? She goes by Teddy.

I love Theodora. It's regal-sounding and yet not intimidating. If I used it for a daughter, though I'd call her either Teddy or Theo too :-)

I like it, though its not a special favorite, and also Dorothea which somehow sounds slightly more femine to me. The nn Thea or Dora is lovely.

Yes, she was a Byzantine empress. I like the name, especially spelled Teodora. It was the name of my great grandmother, and she went by Dora or Dori.The other possible nns, Teo and Tea are also nice.
