Neva is vaguely downbeat / negative / "thin" sounding to me. (I often have that reaction to unblended N sounds in names.) Eva's a bright, powerful sounding name; Neva's much softer and darker sounding to me. I like both, but much prefer Eva.

Definitely Eva. I know a Neva and she's a bit odd. And also a nevus is a mole (on the skin), which is also what I think of. But then again, I'm a nurse.

Eva, by far. Neva sounds like "it's snowing" in Catalan. I'd say better Neus, or Nieves, or even Neve.

Eva is the default choice, seeing as it's an actual name.

Eva, hands down. So class sounding, and very feminine. Neva just doesn't sound nice to me.
