Valentine
What do you think of the name Valentine (boy)? I quite like it as a middle name - just wondering what your opinions were.

I like it for a boy. I had a neighbor, about 65, named Valentine Taubner. I think it's very nice and old-fashioned, kind of like Clarence in some way (at least in my mind!).

A good friend has the last name Valentine, so to me, its a last name and ln only. Although, I would see it acceptable as a mn, especially if you know a Valentine and were to honor them

It reminds me way too much of Valentine's Day.

I like it a lot. [m]I think it's quite masculine. I find it easy to connect it to Saint Valentine, rather than the hearts & flowers. It sounds strong and upbeat to me. I've liked it for a while. - chazda

I think it's ok, though not my normal style. I would only use it as a middle name. Kind of a hard one to match with the right first name though...

Nice, but I prefer Valentina (girl, of course). I suspect Valentine's associations could bring teasing, when they're at that "girls/boys are icky" stage in primary school lol.

I don't care for it. I do see it for a boy, but it's not at all masculine, and would cause teasing, most likely.
