Griffin and Pheonix
WDYT of Griffin and Pheonix? I really like both, but have never really talked about them. I especially think they would be awesome as brothers...

Griffin lovely. Not so Sure about Phoenix. Phoenix is better on a girl I think. wouldnt use them in a sib set though. looks like trying too hard. no offence intended
i think they are nice
I've never liked Griffin very much. But it's okay. I love Phoenix it's one my favorites. I would never use it though.
I love those names i allways have
I like both names, though I would never use them myself. And I think they would make a terrific b/b set.
Pheonix should say Phoenix (just to clarify)

Griffin is growing on me, and I actually like it now days
Pheonix is always going to be just another city to me.

Is that really the spelling of "Phoenix"...
...that you are planning to use?
I beg you... NOT to!

no...
It's supposed to say Phoenix. I misstyped.

Both are odd to me, like naming your kid Pegasus or Centaur.
Phoenix (this spelling only, Pheonix is simply misspelled imo) has the virtue of being attached to a very nicely symbolic creature, and partly because of that I can tolerate it as a name much better than Griffin.
A gryphon is a creature that is appointed to guard the treasure of important people. The gryphon would be so diligent in this job that it would tear to bloody pieces anyone who came near the treasure, thus preventing it from being stolen. They would never ask what the unfortunate person was doing there in the first place before killing them, and would never give second chances. So, while their loyalty and commitment to their job is commendable, Griffin for a person, to me, carries the connotations of bloodthirsty closed-mindedness (probably not quite the right word there...) that the creature itself has. All in all, I much prefer the slightly harder-to-pronounce Griffith.
Griffin and Phoenix are way too themey for brothers imo, although their sounds are nice together.

I think they are both great names, leaning more towards liking Phoenix (that spelling only).

I LOVE these two names and think they would make a great sib set. I wouldn't use them because they don't go at all with my other fav. names.
They make a good sibset, but I'm not sure I could ever actually get up enough nerve to use them, even though I do like them.
I like Griffin but I don't really like Pheonix.
They make great names for brothers.
