How do you pronounce Eleanora?
A lot of sources say el-en-OHR-a, while others give el-ee-a-NOHR-a with 5 syllables. I prefer the latter, and it makes more sense to me, but would I get the pron. I wanted if I used it?

I agree that the second pronunciation makes more sense, but I doubt that you'll get people to pronounce it that way; everyone just says it like Eleanor w/an extra a...Either way, it's a beautiful name, and if don't mind correcting people all of the time, go for it!

I say el-a-NOR-ah, like Eleanor with an added "ah". I love the nn Nora too.
