Charlotte happens to be my name (as well as the name of two of my friends).
I live in the United Kingdom where Charlotte has ranked highly in popularity lists for some time now. For example, it was the 9th most popular name in the UK for baby girls born in 2003, just behind Emily, Ellie, Chloe, Jessica, Sophie, Megan, Lucy and Olivia.

Some of the popular names are the same for the U.S. as in the U.K., but overall you guys have better taste, imo. LOL
