Hi, Mike T. I found a Nashmin on the 'net yesterday and e-mailed her in Iran, asking her the meaning of her name. She wrote back! Here's what she wrote:
"Hi my name means soft and tender, like garden rose, that is its general meaning of course! But regarding the genuine meaning, I mean in Kordish Language, it means "the girl who is cute & is proud of her beauty!" By the way, How did U find my name? And also i would like to know : WHO R U ???!!! Bye w... !z"
I guess I'd better write back to Nashmin and clear up the mystery, huh? :) I'm also going to give her the URL to this website, in case she'd like to stop by and say "hi".
