OK, sorry. Tove was originally a boys' name in Scandinavia. It is now, as far as I know, only used by women. It's probably derived from Thor (the god of thunder), but there seem to be theories of a connotation with the word "dove" (duva in Swedish), which I've read is derived from the Greek "taube" - but I don't speak Greek, so I might be wrong.

Does any one knows anything about a taube that was a Soldier in the war russian- Japan in Ciberia that emigrated to South America Brazil in the 1900's or so.
