[Opinions] WDYT of Amanda

This is JB/happy122 again. USE ONE NAME ONLY PLEASE.
yes, for some reason this is a constant topic lately...
I don't like the name Amanda at all. It screams 80's to me and just seems... young, or something.

Personally, I'll reiterate that I like the name Amanda, despite our troll. I'll add that I think it's sweet and feminine, but not frilly. It's very old too (first appeared in 1221, probably), which for me adds a lot of substance and charm.
'Course, my liking of it may come from its resemblance to my own name, which I like very much. ;-)

Okay, I might be the only one, flying solo here, but I HATE the name Amanda. The name just turns me off, I gag. I dont find it attractive, I dont like the look of it, the sound of it, or the feel of it. Its just all wrong.
I did meet a Manda over the summer (not Amanda, but Manda as her full name), and I liked that. So maybe its just that extra A.
And, every Amanda I know is/was a real problem child. So no, I would NEVER use it.
