Honey is actually a cute nn for Honor, imo. I never thought of that. But I would have it be more of a 'family & close friends' nn rather than what everyone called her.
I do know a woman named Honey, and she's rather ditzy so I don't have a great personal association with the name. Actually, her fn is Honeysuckle. :- She said her mother said it was growing outside her dorm room when she found out she was pregnant with her, so that's what she named her. Sheesh.
