I take it the Schultheis' are Jewish? Just so you know, Jewish families choose names to honor relatives not because they are Hebrew :D Just thought I'd tell you.
The Schultheis Family
DH: Barak Benesh
DW: Sarah Tiffany
DS: Baruch Yochanan (jeziana)
DS: Asa Boaz (RowenaRavenclaw)
DS: Chatzkel Avraham (It's Yiddish, but I s'pose it doesn't matter)
- + - + -
The Rathbone Family
DH: Buck Philip
DW: Meghan Rae
DD: Jordan Rae (RowenaRavenclaw)
DD: Jayden Pearl (jeziana)
DS or DD: Japheth Evan or Jalila Valley
- + - + -
The Lee Family
DH: Jacob Stephen "Jake"
DW: Ashley Marie "Ash"
DS: Byron Jude Jacob (RowenaRavenclaw)
DD: Magnolia Marian Jean (Genevieve)
DS: Nimrod Ethan Henry
The Lees are hoping for an even more unusual fn for their next son. They don't want another word name, but they want something unconventional, maybe even a little nerdy, for their little boy. They moved last month, which has added to the turbulence of the pregnancy, so they would like one of his mn's to mean something along the lines of endurance, strength, help, etc. and one to have a meaning related to the house or home (since they love their new home so much).

The Finucan Family
DH: Joshua Franklin "Josh"
DW: Jessica Candice
DD: Beatrice Elaine (mashlover)
DD: Florence Riley (jeziana)
DD: Verity Faith

The Blanchard Family
DH: Travis Clay
DW: Elaine Melanie
DS: Tait Milo (Genevieve)
DS: Hogan Clay (Genevieve)
DD: Bailee Maria

If I didn't know Jewish families who had chosen names because they were Hebrew (and didn't honor family members), I wouldn't have characterized the Schultheises as doing so. I don't think one naming rule covers the entire culture. And I do think many modern Hebrew names have sprung into being because Jewish families were looking for Hebrew names that don't honor family.
