[Opinions] Re: Sarah, Sarai, Hagar...
in reply to a message by Aria
You can add Keturah (keh-too-rah), Hagar's other name. :)What about the names in Hebrew?
Sarah : sah-rah
Sarai : sah-rie
Avram / Avraham: ah-vrahm / ah-vrah-ham
Yitzhak: yeetz-khak
Ishmael: yee-shmah-elI like Sarah, Sarai is pretty too (and cute meaning "my princess"). Others are not really my thing.

BTN lists Sarai as meaning "contentious"HOw does it mean "My princess?"

"i" gives the idea of "mine". sara = princess, so Sarai = my princess. I don't know where "contentious" comes from. I have never heard of this meaning.
