[Opinions] Ghislaine
What do you think of this name?
Do you think it would make a good sibset with Madeleine, Annabelle and Clara?
Thanks in advance :)

From the look of it I think I'd like it, but I can't work out how to pronounce it. I have one book (somewhat reliable, not great) that says "Normally pronounced Gizz-lane in the English-speaking world".
It would go fine in that sibset, except that Madeleine and Ghislaine have fairly similar endings.

how do you pronounce it? I would say
Giz-LANE, and in that case, I don't really like it.
also this it is quite bad as JIZ-lane.

It is prn JIL-aine
In that case, it sounds pretty, don't much like the look of it though. Although if I hear a name first and then see it, I'm more inclined to like it no matter what
Not sure if it's prn. JIZ-layn or JEEZ-layn but just the first part of the name makes me think "jizz". :-/ The other names you mentioned are much more common and well-known so it would stand out like a bit of a sore thumb, imo. Maybe as a mn, with a very French fn, it could work.
I am not exactly certain how it is pronounced. I was guessing it was pronounce Jiz-lane. There is a HUGE problem with that name in my opinion. A lot of people are gonna immediately see the Jizz part of the name, which is a turn off. If you don't know what I am talking about, it is a slang word (atleast here in the US) for semen.
Ghislaine, Madeleine and Annabelle sound nice together. and Madeleine, Annabelle and Clara go well together. Ghislaine and Clara seem to be classhing. you could use Clara as a mn for one of the others (Annabelle Clara sounds nice).
Ghislaine is an elegant name, but it does remind me of grissle as another poster pointed out. I think it may be hard to pull off in a non-French speaking country, imo.

Reminds me of gristle.
Ghislaine really seems to stick out of that sibset. I don't think it goes with the other names at all - Madleine, Annabelle and Clara are all mainstream, whereas I've never really heard of Ghislaine.
