[Opinions] Jerome and Anita
I've loved Jerome for quite a while - the sound is just wonderful, but Anita is new. I think it's dated, but cute. I'd call her Nita.
Jerome is a bit grown-up, anyone have a good nickname? (Could Jem work?)
Thanks! (And I really don't care if people see Jerome as a black name. I don't, and I wouldn't care either way)

I love Jerome! I don't see it as a black name either, not that it matters all that much, but just sayin'. I like Rome as a nn, but I'd probably just end up saying Jerome most of the time.
Anita is nice; very simple and classy. I would normally picture an older woman with the name, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a little Anita / Nita running around.

I'd think it fabulous if I met a young sibling pair with these names! :) I'm not overly in love with either name separately, but they are definitely refreshing. Never thought of Jem as a nn for Jerome, but I really like it. As for Anita, the mn and ln could be tricky since it sounds so much like "I need a". :-/
I think Jerome is a perfectly handsome name no matter who wears it. I really like it, and I think Jem would work well. I also like Rome/Roam/Romy in theory, but I don't know that it'd work out as well in practice.
I'd love to meet an Anita, though it's not one I'd consider myself. Nita is cute as a button.
Both are fabulous, in other words. :D
