[Opinions] Nehemiah
I recently met a baby named Nehemiah. Too unusual? OK? Great? Horrible? I'm not sure what I think of it. Was curious what y'all thought.

In the United States, Nehemiah has been increasing in use lately. It's been back on the SSA top 1000 list since 1998, and there were 535 boys given the name in 2005, ranking it 408th when spellings pronounced the same are added together on the SSA list. I think it's a fine name myself.

I heard this for the first time at church yesterday, and I don't really like it. The pronunciation is a bit counter-intuitive.I prefer Zedekiah.

Great name. So nice to hear it used on a baby these days. Yeah, really nice.

I actually like it. I probably wouldn't use it as a first name, but possibly a middle name.

I've heard of a grown man named Nehemiah. I don't think it's "too unusual;" I really like it. It's not overused and it sounds nice.

Nehemiah is a wonderful Biblical name. It's unusual but not strange in my opinion. It would probably be on my top 10 list of my favorite boy Biblical names if I had such a list, lol.

I actually have heard of someone named Nehemiah before. It's okay, but it's very unusual.

It is definitely not the worst name i have ever seen, but it is nms. It is very refreshing though compared to the Noahs and the CadensTia

Seems a bit strange. Why not Jeremiah, or another -miah name thats easier to pronounce?
