Too popular.

I love Nicole - but I only like it on a certain type of person, if that makes sense (which it probably does not).

In my opinion both Nicole and Jessica are outdated and 80s sounding although they are still popular.

I have always liked the name Nicole. I think it's a good, solid name, but I think it's past its prime. I'm not fond of the nn Nicky!

I like Nicole, and its variant Nicholle. You don't see it enough.

I think, along with Jessica, that it's very 90's. I don't really like either of them.

I am kind of back and forth with it. I like it pretty much because I love Nicholas and if I didnt have a boy I wanted to use Nicole just to be able to use my all time favorite name. Through the years, every one I've met has left a somewhat negative impression on me.

And out of the many I know, I can only think of one who went by Nikki (the others simply went by Nicole) Personally, people worry about it too much. Its up to the kid nonetheless, but even so - people may assume, but one time is all it takes to correct them.

I used to hate it. At my job I started over the summer, I met a Nicole, a Nichole, and a Nikki. Nikki was her real name. I used to really despise the name Nicole, but it's growing on me. I like it spelled Nichole best, and I do hate the name Nikki. I know someone who is named Nicole but always goes by Nicki. Nicki or Nicky isn't as bad but still, I don't like it. I can live with the name Nichole but I really don't prefer it over other names. And I really don't like the name Jessica. I think they are both pretty boring.

Boring, past its peak, a foreshadowing of things to come for Madison. . .

Basically, I do not like it, but I also do not like Jessica for the same reasons. Nikki / Nicky doesn't bother me as much, as far as NNs go.

I much prefer Nicole to Jessica. Jessica is strongly tied to the 80's for me and I hated the 80's.

I can't stand the name Nicole, all the ones I know except 1 are all promiscuous, and rude.

I love Nicole but it's far too common in my generation as FN and MN I couldn't use it due to the fact, I'm so sick of hearing it but, I do agree with you on disliking the nickname Nicky.

I like the name Nicole, however, I do think that its to common of a name. I don't mind the nn Nicky I have a friend who spells hers Nikki. I guess I like that spelling better.
