Thank you so much for these children! We are happy to have them.
The quadruplets are doing very well. They are in advanced classes at school, and their teachers say that they are some of the best students they've ever had.
Adele's English teacher has read some of her short stories, and says that she is very talented. We are encouraging Adele to keep writing. She says that she would like to be a famous writer someday.
Aimee is a very energetic young lady! She definitely keeps us busy, with long hikes every weekend and other activities throughout the week. She is in a rock climbing club at school and she is quickly making friends that share her interests.
Benoit is just as athletic is Aimee. He is on the baseball team and the basketball team, and somehow he still manages to keep up with his schoolwork. We love going to his games and watching him play. He is one of the best players on the team, and says he would like to be a professional athlete someday.
Laure is a wonderful girl. She spends most of her time in her room listening to music. She shows us some of her drawings, and they are very nice! We are trying to encourage her to join the art club at school, and she seems interested. We hope that it will help her to make some friends.
Alexei is a great boy. He is learning English very quickly, and we think he will speak it fluently within a few months. When he told us he would like to play ice hockey, we instantly signed him up for a local team. He is having a great time playing hockey and hanging out with other boys his age. He has already made several new friends.
Natalya is wonderful. She continues to sew, and has made several gifts for her new siblings. She has joined a sewing club at her school where she is meeting lots of new people. We are beginning to teach her to cook, and she is learning very quickly. She has been begging for a cat, so we are considering adopting one from a shelter for her.
Yevgeniy is a delight. At first, he was quiet and reluctant to speak to us, but he warmed up to us after a while. He is so curious about everything. He is constantly asking questions and wants to learn about everything he sees. We have entered him in kindergarten at a mainstream school, and although he hasn't made any friends yet, his teachers say that he is a wonderful student. He is still going to play therapy once a week, and that seems to be working very well for him.
Thanks again for these children. They have made such a positive difference in our lives!
