I like both. Stella is currently trendy, Sandra is currently out-of-date but I could see it making a comeback.

Love Stella, dislike Sandra

I adore Stella -- so sweet and feminine, yet spunky and strong. Sanda doesn't really do anything for me, though.

I have personal issues with the name Sandra, but other than those negative assocations it just seems outdated to me and not yet ready for a comeback. Stella I like, but I prefer Estella.

Stella - trendy with the -ella ending everyone seems to be into, and I personally loathe. However, this is the best -ella ending and not bad overall

Sandra definitely seems dated and boring to me. Saundra would sound nice. Stella makes me think of A Streetcar named Desire and also the word "stale". It has a witchy feel to it for some reason.
