We had a baby girl in July/06 and named her Violet after her great-gramma. We both loved the name but were unsure how it would be received. We decided to go with our instincts and we are so glad we did...we love this name and when we tell people what it is they always present a warm smile and pleasant sigh. This name makes people happy. For those who hate the nickname Vi...her grampa calls her Letty and it's really cute..."oh my wee Letty" he'll say.
