DW: Meaghan Ann
DH: John RyanJohnnyDS: Keegan Michael (nb)Meaghan and Johnny are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child, a son. They want a name that honors their shared Irish heritage, but nothing too unusual or unpronounceable, seeing as they are both many generations removed from any Gaelic-speaking relatives. Johnny likes more traditional names, i.e. the ten most common names found on men of all ages, while Meaghan likes more modern favorites such as Ryan, Matthew, etc. Help them reach a compromise!

DW: Kathleen AndersonKat
DH: Jeremy Wells “JemDD: Ruby Vi (nb)Kat and Jem are expecting a little girl. They are both minimalist architects, and would like her name to reflect that style sensibility. In fact, their nicknames are recent inventions for themselves (they were always called by their full names among family). They would like their daughter’s fn to be recognizable (though not common) and her mn to be either very obscure or made-up. Both names MUST be short and sweet.

DW: Mónica Paulina
DH: Juan AntonioDS: Juan Ignatius (nb)Mónica and Juan are expecting their first child, a boy. Both think that the baby’s name should contain a family name and a name that is their own. They do not believe that using the original bearer’s middle name, or a variant of their first name is a proper way to honor (i.e. naming their son John or Antonio would NOT honor Juan). They want to name their first son after Juan. His other name (can be fn or mn) should have religious significance (they are Christians).

DW: Kaye Marie
DH: Shannon LouisDD: Gracine Shea (nb)Kaye & Shannon are expecting their first child, a girl. Shannon has decided to leave the baby-naming up to Kaye, who has very strong opinions on the matter ; ). She likes newly-coined names, anything that is of the moment and that conjurs the image of a cute baby girl. The first name should be eye-catching and trendy, and the middle name should flow well.
