Clarity Leigh

is the name of a good friend's eldest daughter. Both my friend and her DH have the mn Leigh / Lee. Clarity is 16 now and very proud of her unusual virtue name.

Like most word/virtue names, I don't particularly like it, but as a MN, anything goes, I guess. If for some reason I were forced to use it as a FN, I'd use Clare as a NN.

Eh. I get jokes about it enough (try being a drama student named Claire with terrible clarity on-stage and you'll know why, lol) that I probably wouldn't use it as a name.

I dont really like it. I immediately thought, "clarity is a word, not a name". Or it reminds me of Cassidy which I think is trashy-sounding.
