The Walker Family
>>Steve Walker is the patriarch of the family. He is an injury lawyer, and handles dozens of cases every month. He works for a successful firm, and has no intentions of quitting until he has to. Steve would have loved more children, but because Sara almost died when Julia was born, he is content with just having Julia (though he hopes there will be lots of grandchildren).
>>Sara Walker is the matriarch of her family. She never held down a job, but was always around for Julia. Sara likes baking and shopping, as well as visiting friends and family. She too would have liked more children, and hopes to have many grandchildren to dote on.
>>Steve and Sara live in a three bedroom rancher with their two Black Labs, Prissy and Champ.
>>Julia Walker is Steve and Sara's only child. She is 23 years old and graduated college last year. She plans on becoming a daycare coordinator or a preschool teacher. >>Jake Hayes is the patriarch of his family. He was in the Navy for a long while, but left after they assigned him a desk job. Jake likes action, and doesn't really know what to do with himself right now, between jobs. He is looking into working at a shipyard somewhere. Jake likes boats, carpentry, and playing with his grandchildren.
>>Andrea Hayes is the matriarch of her family. She worked in an Italian restaurant as a chef while her kids were growing up, but is now only working part-time. Andrea likes cooking, eating, and preparing food. She also enjoys reading mystery novels. Andrea is a full-blooded Italian.
>>Jake and Andrea live in a large country house with five bedrooms and six acres of land. They have no pets.
>>Carly Hayes is Jake and Andrea's older daughter. She is 29 years old, married, and has three children with another on the way. Their baby (whom they've decided not to find the gender of) is due in 5-6 months. They haven't settled on names yet. Nikki and Charles live in a four bedroom home on the border of the city. They have some land and storage space for all of Charles' business supplies.
>>Bobby Hayes is Jake and Andrea's only son. He is 24 years old and graduated college two years ago. He and Julia met in college (his junior year, her sophomore), and have been dating ever since. They married 3 months ago and moved into Bobby's city condo with 2 bedrooms. Bobby is an Animal Cruelty Investigator for the local ASPCA. He's been working there for almost a year and a half. Bobby owns a white kitten named Pyro (short for Pyrotechnic).
