[Opinions] Xochitl is an Aztec (Nahuatl) name
in reply to a message by Missy
Nahuatl is the language of indigenous Mexicans. Xochitl is fairly common name among these people. It means flower and is pronounced something like sho-cheetl.

I really like the name Xochitl (also the sp. Xochilt), though I slightly more prefer the first. It's much more of a GP than something I'd actually use, but there's something about it that's appealing. Our family pronounces it like "so cheel" (that's the best I can do spelling it out phonetically). :-)
