[Opinions] Nile
What do you think of this name?Nile Kinnick was a great college football player in the 1930s. He won the 1939 Heisman Trophy then became a Navy pilot and died on a training mission.

Makes me think of the river in Egypt, so it's place name-y and therefore a bit trendy (if not at all popular). I much prefer Niall.

I always thought of Nile as more suited to a girl, maybe because it reminds me of Nila. Niall would be good for a boy.

I don't really like it, but just last Friday my friend & I were talking about a set of twins named Shane and Nyle. I think I prefer Nyle as a play off Lyle over Nile after the river.

I like itI've heard of this name three times before - on one boy and two girls - and it makes me think of the Nile River. I like it.

I like it. I know a very cool Nyle, and a little boy named Dylan Niall...who we jokingly call D. Niall. I prefer the spelling Nile for the river, though. Niall looks kind of funny to me.

Nile is a very handsome name. I never heard of Mr. Kinnick before, but he sounds like a great role model for a child.I had a cousin named Niall, pronounced the same way. So I'm predisposed to like the name. :-)
