Wow, what an exciting time period for us! Lucas and I were very excited to get five children!
Aron and Saoirse are doing wonderfully. Though the hunting is rather scarce around us, Aron has caught four rabbits and two fish, which we had for dinner those nights. Saoirse loves to sing to us while Hyun plays the piano. Speaking of which, Hyun has added a few more instruments to her list: trumpet, tamborine (which Lucas Aron invited her to try, and harmonica (which Lucas taught her). Shin is continuing to work on his sign language. He has a knack for picking it up very quickly and has impressed his teachers with his abilities. Isuel has found her niche in animals. We adopted three dogs, a cat, two fish and a gerbil from the pound, just like we did the children.
India, our golden retriever, is Aron's. She goes hunting with him and picks up his game. Unfortunatly, we have to brush out her mats every time she comes home.
The gerbil is Saoirse's. Nish, she calls him. He likes her singing to him and he'll start to cheep when she does so.
Shin loves the fish. He stares at them all day. He's named them Apollo and Artemis, after the Greek god and goddess of the day and night.
Isuel loves the kitty. She named her Marta and follows her everywhere. Luckily, we can say the same about Marta. They're practically inseperable. Monty, our terrier mutt, also follows Isuel around. She's taught all the dogs sit, stay, come, down and heel.
Duke is Hyun's dog. He's a great dane and she can practically sit on him! She loves giving him hugs when he's collapsed at her feet while she plays the piano.
