Lizzie and Andrew welcomed a son into the family. Tucker Matthew weighed 7 lb 2 oz and was 16.9 inches long. Since Andrew accepted a new job and will be commuting 75 miles away, Lizzie's grandmother moved in with them to help. The family has also rescued an Alaskan Malmute. Named Esperanza, she is black and white. Her previous owners were a couple in their 80's and sometimes neglected her.
But as she has grown, her smile has widened with a touch of fear and her glance has taken on depth. Now she is aware of some of the losses you incur by being here -- the extraordinary rent you have to pay as you stay.
