[Opinions] Re: Rafferty!

Rafferty makes me think of Jude Law, as it's one of his son's names. It also makes me think of raffles. Just too surname-y, but kind of cute at the same time.
I kind of like Raleigh, and only for a boy (RAH-lee or if you're from NC, it's more like RAH-LAH :b), but it's too place name-y for me to ever use, I think. To use Sigourney would be like using Cher or Oprah--it's just a faux pas as those are "one person names" IMO. And I've never found Sigourney to be an attractive sounding name, anyway (and besides, Ms. Weaver's given name is Susan, lol). Royce makes me think of a Rolls Royce but it's not horrible. I prefer Ross, though. Rourke is kind of cool, and I also like Roark, but it's very surname-y. More of a GP for me. (I think of Roark Critchlow, the actor)
