[Opinions] Neva.
I knew someone named this during elementary school, and I've always liked it. It's a very American name to me, sweet and a little bit different. WDYT?

I like Neva (NEE-va?), although I prefer Neve (NEEV).
Neva Ruth?

My mom has worked with an African-American woman named Neva for about 15 years, and I know her well, too. But she's kind of ditzy and not terribly responsible, so I kind of have a negative assocation with it because of her. :-/ Also, it reminds me of a nevus (mole). :b
ETA: Hey, Neva is Haven spelled backwards without the "h". :b Kind of cool connection, I think. :)

I love this name, just because of the meaning "snow".
But, I don't care for the name "Nevaeh", which sounds alot like it.

Love it!
I love it, although it's more of a Russian name, to me. The river running through St. Petersburg is the Neva. It's pronounced "nyeh-VAH" in Russian, although in English it's "NEE-va." Both are very pretty.
Thanks.
I haven't really heard it outside the US. I think I like nyeh-VAH quite a bit more. I'll have to find a middle name for it.

I've never heard of it before but it's really pretty. Definitely sweet and pretty unusual.
I love it!
I first heard of it a while ago on another naming board and I've liked it ever since.
