[Facts] Isagel/ Isagela
I've seen these names a few times here in Sweden (they are extremely rare!) and I guess they are variants of Isabel and Isabela, but where did the "g" come from? How to you pronounce them, is the g hard or soft? And what's the origin?

Isagel is from Harry Martinsson's Aniara
Isagel is also a woman in the opera Aniara.
I am sure that the women with this name are named after Aniara.
But I don't know if Harry Martinsson invented it himself or not. And I don't know if the G is hard or soft.

How bizarre! I've never seen either, and I don't speak Swedish, so I can't answer any of your questions. I just wanted to chime in on how interesting those two are.
