I don't know if Linda is quite ready to be refreshing on a newborn. Names naturally come back round when, frankly, their previous generation has all died. (Hence the new cycle of Victorian names, Ruby, Ivy, Lily etc.) If they're used earlier than that, they can seem out of sync.

Incidentally, the youngest Linda I know is 19, and it fits her fine. But on a newborn, I don't know.
