[Opinions] Jackson
Jackson is #44 in the US, #54 in my state. How trendy/dated do you think this name will be viewed as in 15 years or so? What connotations does this name have for you?Generate Your Own Glitter Graphics @ GlitterYourWay.com - Image hosted by ImageShack.us

It's already trendy and dated imo. :-/

dittoDitto, which is kind of a shame to me. I kind of liked it at the very beginning (although it still reminds me a little bit of Michael Jackson, yikes!), but it just seems soooo very trendy to me now.

I think, like all other surnames as first names, it'll be very dated in fifteen years or so. Johnathan or John with the nickname Jack is just so much more handsome to me. It's definitely not the worst name in the trend though.

I think it's so trendy, it's boring. I am so sick of seeing it. I think it will indeed be dated in a couple years. It has an eduring quality (think Stonewall Jackson, Andrew Jackson), but ultimately, it's just another trend of surname-to-FN or names-ending-in-son.Magnanimous Despair alone could show me so divine a thing, where feeble hope could ne'er have flown, but vainly flapped its tinsel wing.
