[Opinions] WDYT of this twin-set?
Emerson "Emmy" Leigh
Eleanor "Elly" LynneMy friend is having twin girls and this what she and her husband are planning on naming them. What do you think, good or bad?Oh yeah, they already have a three year old named Esmee Layne. And I should also mention that my friends names are Elise Lorelei and Ethan Lawrence and their last name is Endicott. And Elise's maiden name was Emerson, so the whole ELE intial thing is a must.So if anyone can think of any other names, it would be greatly appricated!

I would only use Emerson for a boy name. I personally don't like either Emerson Leigh or Eleanor Lynne, I could think of much better ELE names. I think it is kind of cute they all have the same initials. I say if both mom and dad have the same ones, they should go for the same ones for the kids too. I don't like it when a "M" and a "T" (for expample) have all "K" kids.

I love Eleanor but Emerson is way too trendy and masc. to be paired with it. Emily or Elizabeth would be a lot prettier imo. I dislike Leigh and Lynne to. They seem so boring and like filler mns. Eleanor Lucy and Emily or Elizabeth Lola would be better.

I think the E theme is rather tacky, personally.Eleanor Lynne "Elly" is very nice. Emerson is a BOY'S name (note the SON), and while Emmy is adorable, Emerson spoils it completely. Emmy Leigh is also rather bad.

Far to cutsey with the matching initials and its very repetative.
Will cause problems later on when the girls are still living at home and start recieving letters addressed to E.L.Endicott. husband and wife might not mind openning each others mail but teenagers get really annoyed when their parents open theirs.
Eleanor and Esmee are lovely names,
Emerson is all boy to me and Emerson Lee is even worse though I can understand why they didnt go for Emily or Emma

Emerson Lee is awfully ambiguous, even masculine, as a name.
I love the name Eleanor but Lynne is filler-ish.
I think they should wait for a boy to use Emerson.

If they ever end up having a boy they plan on using the name Ephraim Landon because Ephriam was the name of Ethan's father who died when Ethan was just a baby and Landon was the name of Elise's father who died 5 months ago after suffering his third heart attack. So the boys name is pretty much set in stone already."Fathers be good to your daughters,
Daughters will love like you do.
Girls become lovers, who turn into mothers.
So mothers, be good to your daughters too." - John Mayer

I like the Emerson is a family name. If it wasn't it would just be awfully trendy. I love Eleanor and it is so refreshing to see an Esmee. Other suggestions:
Emilia
Edie / Eden / Edith
Estelle / Estella
Erica
Elodie
Emmeline
Evelyn
Evelina
Eibhlin
Ebony
Elisabeth / Elizabeth (this could be cute because Elise is a form of Elisabeth)

Emerson Leigh "Emmy" - Emerson has grown on me a lot as of late. I think it's cute, though I slightly more prefer the sp. Emersyn. Leigh is cute for a girl's MN, and the NN Emmy is adorable :-)Eleanor Lynne "Elly" - I'm not fond of Eleanor...it seems so dated imo. Lynne makes a nice MN, and Elly is another adorable NN :-)Esmee Layne - Esmee is a GP for me. I love Layne, but much prefer the sp. Laine (a fave of mine).
