If I would hear IE-la, I'd expect it to be written Ayla (which I love) and my second guess would be Isla (Which is also nice). I don't like the spelling Ila. I don't really like the look any names that start with il-, because it looks weird in print. Ilamay sounds nice, I would spell it something like Ayla May though, or Isla Mae like Soul said.
