August - love this
Fisher Pete - Fisher on its own is nms but not horrible, but with the mn of just "Pete", it's just silly imo. :b
Jonah - like
Kannon Bo - um, no
Linkon - Lincoln would've been nice
McCullough Henry - well, I like Henry
Miles Asa - not sure about the flow but I love both names
Quinn - love this for a boy
Levi - Nice
Clarissa Petite - Petite? :-/ I like Clarissa.
Mahogany - wood
River Rae - I don't love River on a girl but it's ok, and with mn Rae it's downright cute. :)
Tinley Roe - ewww
Hurricane - This is ridiculous on either gender, I think.

Concerning baby Hurricane:
Conflicts aside, if you look at the siblings names, which are Brianna and Savannah, and then you see little Hurricane here, my first though would be that it's a bit oddball of a name compared to the others. And then assuming the others are probably females since I've never heard of a little boy Brianna or little boy Savannah, I would assume that Hurricane is a boy. Sure, the outfit has some frill along the trim, but some boy outifts do have lace along the edge. It also IMO looks like it could possibly be an older outfit (maybe the family has a tradition of bringing newborns, whether boy or girl since it is an off-white or pale yellow which are more neutral colors, home from the hospital in the particular outfit).
Not only that, but sometimes on that site, they will have babies listed as Baby Boy or Baby Girl because maybe they don't want to give the real name or haven't decided on one yet, or both. So maybe Hurricane is just a pet name they came up with for their own reasons or, like CKE mentioned, Hurricane might be after Rubin Carter, who was a middleweight boxer, and the way little Hurricane's hands/arms are positioned, it looks like (s)he is about to knock someone out. :-p

I can't find any reference to the child's gender on the page you linked to, and as this seems to be an African-American baby it seems much more likely to me that it's a boy named after Rubin "Hurricane" Carter:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubin_Carter
Ransom was a name regularly found in the USA during the 19th century. It was probably originally a use of the surname as a given name rather than coming from the word.

I thought it was wearing pink [the skin made it look pink to me], I went back and saw the baby has white on. It could be either I'll fix it.
Oh and the other post about Nevaeh. Nevaeh is a boy, because it said "it's a boy", and it had boy's clothes on, plus I don't know many girls named Bernardo, do you?. I'm not an idiot you know.
Sorry if I sound rude but I'm tired of all the "are you sure" posts, I'm sure [for the most part] on all the babies I've posted. I feel like you think I'm lying or making it up. Yes, there are boys named Nevaeh once in a while.
About Ransom, I added it because it's an unusual name legit or not. I'm not questioning it's legitamacy s][spelling] at all.
Hurricane doesn't look African American to me at all, but who knows.

I don't think you are lying or making things up, but I do think that, especially on this site, that should not be insulted if people ask for evidence so that they can make up their own minds about whether your conclusions are correct. Precisely since you just admitted you did make a mistake with Hurricane, why should you be insulted that someone asks for confirmation about the gender of the child named Nevaeh? :)
And by pointing out where Ransom came from I was not criticizing your decision to post it, only giving further information.

I think you're being oversensitive. CKE hasn't been rude, abrupt or agressive, and his comments look just fine to me. Instead of insisting that he use this or that phrasing, maybe you need to readjust your own expectations?
I know you enjoy posting "sensational" names, and no one has a problem with that, but you need to be prepared to be questioned about them given their weird nature. It's only natural on an *etymology* website for people to want to make sure that the information they're getting is accurate and verifiable.
If anyone is actually rude, let me know, but otherwise please don't keep attacking CKE for asking his questions in a professional manner.

I don't mind being asked a question but seriously "what makes you think" is sort of a bit rude. I'm sure that's not his intention. I do think he could have worded it better, then maybe I wouldn't have taken offense.
"a boy's best friend is his mother" - Norman Bates in Psycho
No. "What makes you think?" is a reasonable phrasing. It's a direct question and it's not mashed up in jam on a teaspoon to make it easier to swallow, but it is *not* rude.
If CKE had said "WTF are you talking about, you must be insane to think that's a girl!!" then that would be a problem. But all of his questions have all been in a polite, business-like tone. You're an adult and should be capable of accepting direct questions without candy-coating or eggshell-walking.
As an objective observer: you are being vastly oversensitive, and you are choosing to take offence at something that simply isn't there. Please let it be and take some time to critically assess your own emotional response to this issue, rather than blaming CKE for your reaction.

August Hill - August is alright, if yuppie trendy. But "August Hill" sounds like the title of a paperback.
Jonah Dennis - This is really nice. I like both names and they work well together.
Thatcher William - As a Brit, Thatcher is too controversial for me; and as a Scot, I find it downright evil ;-)
Linkon - As in Linkin Park? Not cute.
Kannon Bo - Silly. Cannon is hard enough to take seriously as it is, nevermind the K.
Eden Michael - It's nice to see Eden on a boy ... different (though I like it on a girl too).
Addison Michelle - Ugh. This follows a typical formula. Tough-sounding surname followed by girly middle name, stressed on the last syllable. Riley Nicole or Ashton Marie would've done the job just as well.
Brette Kyla - Presumably Brette is a girlier spelling of Brett, and I don't think it's that bad, considering. Kyla doesn't really add to its credibility though, does it, being fluffy and trendy itself.
Brooklyn Mariah - I can see this being very dated in the future, but the names aren't bad.
Clarissa Petite - Clarissa is cool, you don't hear it often. I reckon Petite might be a family surname in this case. Fine as a middle name; not a good first name, given the statistical chances of her becoming obese.
Delaney Noel - Delaney will date but in a tasteful way ... A bit like Jessica of the 80s perhaps, as opposed to Britney? Noel is nice.
