[Opinions] Anastasia or Isabella?

I'm going to use Anastasia & Isabella together as a name but what name should we use to go by? we love them both so much we can't decide i just want oppinions on what everyone thinks is prettier i guess.Thanks =)

I think Anastasia would definitely stand out more. Isabella (as lovely as it is) is a top ten name.

Anastasia is #907 most popular female name in the USA and Isabella is #997 popular female name in the USA according to www.namestatistics.com

I believe the statistics of #907 and #997 were most popular names for people of all ages. Isabella has become popular only in the last 10-15 years. That's why it is so low on that particular chart. It is contending with Barbaras, Roberts, Lindas and so on.

Currently, Isabella is the 8th most popular name for baby girls.That means that Isabella is going to be one of many in their class. It doesn't matter how common the name is overall - it matters how popular it is in a generation.Susan is a very common name, but a young child would be hard pressed to have a classmate with the name. However, my mother is in her 50s, and she went to school with many.

Actually this isn't for a newborn it's for a name change someone in their 20's it's not very popular here in Canada.

Isabella - 9th in CanadaPeople would think your parents were just ahead of the trend I guess. It wouldn't be the end of the world to have a name that 1000s of kids 20 years younger than you have. I am trying to imagine a 40 year old named Britney or Ashley in this day and age. That would be the equivalent for another generation, to kind of help put things in perspective.

If you click on the name Isabella it will take you to the meaning of the name and on the right side of your screen you will see the word popularity. I don't like either of these names, but I guess I'd choose Anastasia and call her Stacy.

AnastasiaFor heaven's sake, Anastasia. Though I prefer the spelling Anastacia, I'd take almost any name over the tiresome Isabella.

I think Isabella is prettier personally :] but if you're using it as a combo I think Anastacia Isabella flows better :] But I'd go by Isabella.

I would say . . . go by a nickname, either way. Izzy or Ana . . . but I prefer Isabella. Both are pretty!
