I prefer it spelled Tilly, and I only like it as a nn. The only name I can think of right off the top of my head that would use Tilly as a nn is Matilda.

I really like it, it's starting to get used a bit here in Australia. You can also spell it Tilly.

I think it's an adorable nn for Matilda or Ottilie. But I wouldn't use it as a formal name. It needs more.

I think it is a good nickname but I wouldn't use it as an actual first name. It's cute for a little girl but the girl will grow up to be a woman...A 40 year old Tillie? I don't know...
