I'm looking for a nn for Veronica that would work on a little girl - about 7, for a story I'm writing.

I don't want 'Ronnie' or 'Ron', please.

My sister in law's name is Veronica. She gets called Vern a lot. Or just Vee.

Decision, I think

I was leaning toward Nikki but after some contemplation I think I like Rona. It's short and sweet and just sounds like it could be a little girl's name (aside from the very cool Rhona Mitra).

Thank you for the help and sorry for cutting everybody off so quickly but I'm writing at this very moment lol.

My grandmother Veronica went by Vera. My cousin was named after her, but goes by Rona (which she now spells as Rhona).

A friend (Veronica) goes by Vee.
