which I find a bit softer than BRAWN-tay. BRAWN-tee sounds all wrong to me. Because the most famous bearers of this name were literary sisters, I think of this as a suitably feminine name, though the truth is it's a surname, and not properly male or female, really.My favorite combo is Veronica Bronte. I don't really care for it in the fn position.
