[Opinions] interesting names in an obituary
Thetis Marine, Asa Annye Naper Douglass, Lynn Marine, Wilmington, and Houston, Murray, Chapel.
I happen to come across names while on a news papers website.
also - here is a name from the signature of a magizine artical - Chiftaney. (pretty sure that is what it was)

Thetis
Thetis was a minor Greek goddess, Achilles' mother in Homer's Iliad, so it's likely that's where the name comes from. The fact that Thetis is a sea nymph makes Marine a little redundant as a MN, though. It's prn Thet-iss (short E, soft S)
Wit has truth in it; wisecracking is simply calisthenics with words.

thanks alot!
Im glad you took time to do your research.
I wonder where the people in the obituary were from? (and if they knew this info when naming their child over 96 years ago)

Personally, I find all those names quite bad. I more or less think they're pretty untasteful. :
